L.E. “Mike” Daniels, Psy.D. is a Clinical Psychologist licensed in Georgia and South Carolina. He is a graduate of the School of Psychology at Florida Tech, and is currently Professor of Counseling and Psychology at Troy State University in Augusta, Georgia. He is in private practice at The Family Center in North Augusta, South Carolina. His professional training in psychotherapy includes Systemic Brief Family Therapy, Rational-emotive therapy, Cognitive-behavioral therapy, addiction therapies and behavioral-marital therapies.

As part of his private practice work, Dr. Daniels provides psychological assessment and psychotherapy services to adults, adolescents, children, couples and families. Psychological assessment services for infants, children, adolescents and adults include : cognitive assessment, assessment of developmental status, assessment of personality, achievement testing, psycho-educational assessment, assessment of learning problems, and behavioral assessment.

Dr. Daniels’ background and work in forensic psychology includes both civil and criminal cases. He has worked with Georgia Department of Family and Children Services, South Carolina’s Department of Social Services, Georgia’s legal services, and state and federal courts. He also consults local business, churches and non-profit organizations in the CSRA.

Entertaining and informative, Dr. Daniels is a frequent speaker to businesses, churches, civic organizations and professional groups throughout the Southeastern part of the United States. He utilizes humor, sensitivity and his own extensive personal and professional experience to address a wide range of psychological topics, including parenting approaches, ADHD, discipline and difficult children, and coping with divorce.
